About Me

I am a licensed massage and health care practitioner. My training began in New York City, where I attended the Swedish Institute College of Health Sciences. There I received training in Shiatsu, Sport, Medical and Swedish Massage from seasoned professionals, completing 1000 hours of rigorous training before earning an Associate Degree in Occupational Studies and Massage Therapy.

My passion for bodywork started before this, while attending Goucher College; in addition to earning a Psychology degree, I studied dance and movement as modalities for emotional and physical well-being. Both my academic and professional education are important components of my practice; I strongly believe in the connection between mind, movement and wellness and I strive to integrate these considerations into my work.

My desire to create a holistic practice in my hometown of Amherst led me back to the Pioneer Valley in 2012. I now have a beautiful, private, and serene office in the Nacul Center near the center of Amherst that I work out of 4 days a week, while also earning my Master’s in Public Health.
